Your friends hate em, Basil hates em, you insult them in public, you know who/what they are. What are some of the mainstream things that people publically ridicule but you secretly(or not so secretly) like? Don't worry, we won't tell.~ I personally love Lady Gaga's music despite people saying how tacky she looks or how she's a man or whatever. Despite Bieber Fever, I really like Justin Bieber's Baby, it's really catchy and Miley Cyrus ain't that bad... Your Turn!

I can't stand Panic at the disco, but I like some of their songs. I don't know if Silversun Pickups are considered mainstream, but they're one of my favorite bands.

The difference between LoG and, say, early Trivium is that LoG is more influenced by Post-Pantera Groove Metal and the Florida Scene's death metal, while retaining Metalcore tendencies (the band have even identified themselves as a "Punk band that plays Heavy Metal) hence the term "New Wave of American Heavy Metal", which consists of the mix of all the above genres. Like the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, it incorporates a number of subgenres into one gigantic sound.
