Nexon fail 2x exp/drop why weekday!

Why did Nexon put a 12 hour 2x exp/drop on a weekday? And on their site, it bacically said cancel all your plans and play maplestory for this event

It was a joke whine, which is why I added the "I will stop whining now" at the end of it. And I did not beg for any 2x EXP/drop events. I accept them as they come.
