I need some help here

So on RedPots4Me, i have 81 str and 86 dex. i want to leave island to be a vic-y but i "cant" because of my stats. i have enough money/nx to get resets. and i dont know what to do, i dont want to make a new character and start all over, ive come pretty far(lv31 is REALLY far for me). Please help my beginner buddies

Well. I would stay on the island if I were you since you're so high leveled, however, if you're determined to become an off islander then I can only think of a couple of options: A. Be a high dex beginner, and get some good attack/str equips to compensate for the lack of damage. B. Buy AP resets and reset your dex to 60. C. Restart I personally would be a high dex beginner and reset to around 70ish, and then use some extra nx for MTS to buy some decent att wgs and other equips.

[/quote] I'll do your idea..maybe... i need other people's input. And atm i only have 2k nx ans imd in Glacia. Would it be better to just be a Khaini/Scanian? Remember, restarting is last on my list(lol and yours)

[/quote] I think the best route would be to keep your islander since it's so high leveled, and you wouldn't want to waste that hard work to make it into an off-islander. You should probably just make a beginner in Khaini or Scania. I personally recommend Khaini mainly because I know for a fact that you can easily get help from me and the guild, and we can help with anything from where to train to what equips to use (getting to level 30 isn't that difficult, especially with a nice community backing you up, trust me). It'll save money as well, but it's all up to you.

Well my bro is in Scainia, and hes a DGer(most of you might know this alrdy) and he gets a lot of unneeded beginner items(pumpking spears, def stuff, etc.) and he could help me with money and stuff. But i also wanna be in Khaini because you guys are so cool, but i dont wanna be a hoar and take your money/equips and not be able to repay you. FM(maple)L i guess

FM(maple)L i guess [/quote] Well, it's pretty easy to start over unfunded, I did it myself (lost my level 67 beginner and restarted 3 weeks ago). Scania from what I hear is pretty overpopulated and laggy, which would be a drag in my opinion. Khaini is pretty perfect to me, with a very moderate population, and minimal lag. I guess it's all up to you though. I feel that having friends and nice people to talk with, that can also help you out when you're in troubling times, helps out more than a couple mil and some equips. People in our guild can also let you borrow equips, and help you get started, we're pretty nice.

I was stuck in your situation at one point. My Broan islander also had high DEX too (I think it was around 60 - 70 at about level 30), and was thinking of taking him off-island sometime at level 28 - 29. I didn't have NX, had no funding, and went far as an islander. I never took him off-island, and instead he went on to bigger and better things. I tell you not to leave the island, someday you probably might regret it, as silly as it sounds, it could be true. I focused on the fact that I had RL friends playing over in Scania (whom quit very shortly after I created this beginner, I received no funding from them), and also because I have a cleric there (which was pretty much stripped at the time). Nevertheless, because it was a bigger server, and because I expected to find more people there to make friends with (because I was quite lonely when I played my islander in Broa), I created a new beginner in Scania. Let me ask you this question: What do you really want? Do you prefer the money more, or do you prefer friendship? If you prefer friendship, it'd be safer not to ask anybody for equipment in the first place, unless they're willing to offer to do so or if you feel that they can help you without expecting anything else in return. I started with pretty much no mesos on Readers, so if I can do it, I'm pretty sure you can do the same.

Well i want friendship and money, i dont want lag and i want a good community, which is like Khaini...But in Galacia i already have 20m and some equips -_- Ima make a poll A-Go to Khaini B-Go off island as a high dex C-Go to Scainia with my bro D-Other(please state)

I would have to say A, and definitely not B. You might regret leaving the island later on, and then it'll be too late. Also, why not make a quick beginner in Khaini and join the guild for a bit and see what it's like, and that might help you make up your mind or not.

If it were me, I would keep my Galician Islander and just remake a character in another server. I suggest Scania, Broa, or Khaini since they seem to be the most popular. Your brother is in Scania so that might be the best place to move, but like Hayden said if you come to Khaini we'll take care of you. Also, I know you said that you want to be a beginner but do you have any interest in one of the odd builds? I'm still looking for more diversity in the guild, so I'm trying to encourage new members to deviate a bit from the hobo-life and get a job.

[/quote] I have an evan-beginner a noblesse and a legend and well.. almost every thing but i like the regular beginner style more .... also this is wayyyy off topic but what drivers do i need to play maplestory? i just wiped my comp clean and i need to know what drivers i need

I'm sorry but spending money on AP resets on a level 30 character is just ridiculous. 3100 NX PER POINT? It takes less than a week to get to 30 off maple island if you just do quests or grind or pq.
