All my life, I've always brushed my hair into this boring side part, and looked like a dork, but it worked and it worked very well for formal occasions such as church. Thing is, when I hit puberty, my hair got insanely curly, and has remained that way for years. It's...springy. There are people who pay to have their hair be the way mine is, but the boring side part is all I know. Anyway, I've been considering maybe turning it into a white boy afro, you know, working with what I got. What are your opinions on the white boy afro, and how would I go about getting one? (remember, the boring-ass part is all I've ever really known)

I've considered that too, but I wear glasses, so it would look really funky the way my head is shaped. (I assume by jarhead you mean high and tight? (like what marines do?))

Just do what you want :D. So what if you might look like a dork with an afro? It's your hair and your looks so you decide what you want to do. I kind of did the afro one summer back in high school just for fun XD.
