Do you think before you choose your ign?

How important are your nicknames/screen names in games or forums to you? Are there any reasons as to why you chose it? To take maplestory as an example, I could never choose a name that isn't short or aesthetically pleasing, because I somehow think it adds to the overall image of the player. If I see 2 high-leveled players, one of them called simply "Odysseus" and the other "Mastahfullsin915" or "IareNoNoob" or "i-anything" I'd personally only respect the Odysseus guy in the first moment since I think the name say a lot about the person.

I'm very picky with IGN's, they're so important to me, it has to be perfect or else I get really annoyed and uncomfortable. Dunno if I like Sentiment, maybe I'll delete it and make a new one like my past 6 accounts.

It usually takes me a few days of going through an entire list of IGN's i think of before i can find the one i like best. But, just put the word 'Luscious' in any ign than add another word like Tear Lyric etc. and boom! -talks in italian accent- you get a one spicy a ign ah! =]

And, i don't see why people get offended by the jersey shore. they are just normal people. how they act shouldn't reflect an entire race. peoples actions speak for themselves and no one else.

I have a rule, in that I never ever use numbers. generally I either use one of my aliases, qarano, or something that relates to whatever character I am creating. For instance, my wind archer is named gale stroller, a synonym for wind walker. My first CK was named K o Cbite, a play on the original abbreviation.

I never use numbers, and 1) make up some random nice-sounding "names" as I go...or 2) Sometimes I merge words together. Example of first: Naireya Example of second: OnlyJustice
