Have you ever developed an online crush on someone before?

I know I have. In fact, I still talk to him and it has been years since we met, over MapleStory. Two and a half years to be exact. It sounds kind of sad, but I don't regret the fact that we ever met. Even though we've never met face to face, because of the 16xx mile difference between us, I think he's the most amazing person ever. I know there's a slight chance that he might be completely different IRL, but I don't mind. Not yet at least. It all started in CPQ, I was a priest in progress and he was a DrK in progress. He proposed the idea of becoming training partners and I accepted it. A couple weeks later while training, someone was talking about how profitable APQ apples were and that led to having an idea that led to a pixelated wedding between us. Two days later, we were happily married to each others pixels and went off to fulfill his training proposal. As time passed us by when we trained, we slowly started bonding with each other over talking about simple matters. Hours turned into days and days turned into weeks as we trained. Around two months after we met, he announced to the guild that he was quitting MapleStory due to the reason that it was getting uber lame and I spontaneously asked him to exchange MSN screen names with me. He "LOL"ed hard and told me he didn't have one so I peer pressured him into creating one then adding me on it and he did. The first exchange of IMs was extremely akward TBH, but as time progressed so did the depth of our conversations. Around three months later, we finally decided to exchange pictures as proof that neither of us were pedubears. He was decent looking, not the prettiest I've seen but not the ugliest I've seen either. He told me that I looked decent and I thanked him. Fast forward a few years- As I was talking to him today, I realized how long it has been since we've met and those memories just flashed through my mind. I giggled as I envisioned them and began wondering if I was weird because I have an online crush on someone I've never met IRL before and if I was the only one. I think I get attached too easily and daydream way too much. I'm such a creeper/weirdo/loner in life. So Basil, have you ever fallen in love with pixels before? If so, elaborate. Sorry if made any grammatical mistakes, I didn't bother to reread and I made this out of pure curiosity and boredom. If you read the entire thing, thanks for listening to/reading my story. Pixels, no. The person that I get to know behind them? Kind of. I wouldn't call it love. I'd call it friendship? -looks at EntryLevel's post- Yeah he's gotten it right. But my fianc�e, I met on Maple. Kind of hypocritical I guess. But we got closer offline after we quit Maple and sent texts and called each other. One thing just led to another. From random pixels to friend to close friend to best friend to girlfriend to fianc�e. Life has a funny way of working I guess.
