I'm lv 40 right now, following the basic build on this site. I haven't allocated my 3 SP yet, but I'm considering putting them into PKB just so I can do PyPQ. However, I've searched around and found that some people don't think that "messing up your skill build just for a PQ" is really necessary. Should I do PKB just for PyPQ? If not, what places are good for training for a Lv 40 Hunter?

if u really want to pypq, then go ahead, 3 points isnt a huge difference, and ur gonna have to max it out anyways. alternatives are cpq, truckers, iron mutaes, etc

Lol, hunters still find it real hard to pYpq when you have PKB. It only hits 2 monsters and is quite slow.

PyPQ is not only hopelessly repetitive, but by the time you get a decent level PKB the EXP will no longer be better than just training if you had maxed arrow bomb instead. Not recommended.

I did a pypq specialized build on my newest hunter. Works decently well, ill have max pkb and 15 bomb at lv 50. Exp is pretty good, but I was partying with a guildie fighter so, i think that helped a bit. Overall, id stick to a regular build and forget about pypq. Its so repetive, your eyes will start to bleed. Music doesent help much at all.

I grinded PyPQ on my Evan from level 40-50. It was horrendously painful. I'm not looking foward to do it again, so I guess I'll just stick with CPQ until lv 50. However, how is the experience on CPQ TW better than PyPQ? If I'm correct: CPQ (3 times = 30 minutes. Each time is 30k/10k/30k = 70k exp) PyPQ (2 times = 30 minutes. Each time is 70k/70k = 140k exp) I can't handle Rombots/Trojans with speed at all, and I do horribly in Rooms 3 and 4 o.o Maybe its my sucky equips?

3 early points into PKB isn't going to kill you. I actually prefer doing PyPQ during that early 4X stage before maxed Bomb/IA, since training isn't much quicker at that point without multipliers. CPQ can be a good alternative, but only if you're buying wins or you have a good group; I tried a few times in Demethos, but all I could find to party with were some idiot Evans that kept shoving Trojans in my face, so that option was out. PyPQ can net you some nice scrolls too, which is also an incentive.
