How do you not procrastinate?

I know there have been procrastinating threads before but I just want to know: HOW DO YOU NOT PROCRASTINATE? I have a really bad problem with procrastinating, It's not only with homework. Dinner, shower, etc. Anyone have ideas on how to stop procrastinating..? Whatever I try will do nothing. (Ironically, I'm making a thread on procrastinating when I'm procrastinating at this very moment.)

I try to think of the time I can use effectively. Whenever I don't procrastinate, I always enjoy the free time I have left rather than cramming. I reduced my procrastination from doing projects until the last day, until working on them a few days earlier. :D I still procrastinate though.

I wish I could do that.. But even though I think of all the free time I would have if I did do my homework now, I still procrastinate. e_e

I can only not procrastinate in one circumstance. A group project/effort type thing. If im working with other people im motivated to work because the others do, if not then nobody works and the entire group procrastinates haha.

I procrastinate TOO MUCH. If you procrastinate because you're on the computer too much then I suggest you try to do as much homework that does not require the use of a computer without a computer. (<-- I know its wordy but read it a few times and you'll know what I mean) Sounds easy but I have yet to do it.

When I have to do something I always just pick a time to start and a time limit to help myself keep going. For example if I have a paper due in a week. I say I'll do the first couple of sections at 5:00, that should take me about an hour. It allows you to procrastinate a bit while still setting a time frame to get my stuff done. It works rather well for me.
