| I'd like to know if I should switch from using a Carabella to a red katana? Currently I'm using a 134 Carabella. What attack would I need from a Rk to match it? I have 75 attack from the rest of my equips (Shield, Gloves, Cape, Shoes, Belt, Pendant), if that matters with the calculation/estimations :3 Thanks! Note: I probably won't spend any extra funding on the Rk, aside from the Carabella's worth. |

| I'm not sure if you've included the bonuses from attack potions and what not, but you'd need a 116 or 117 att RK to match it. (assuming 75 attack is including att pot). EDIT: You'll need more or less 115 att on the Katana to match it if you use a cider. |

| It's really hard (for me) to find an RK that's 110 att + in the FM (I don't buy nx cards, only paypal). If you find a 116 att RK then do it! |

| 116+ RK But i doubt it since 134 att carabella is much cheaper |

| If you're only going to spend your Carabellas worth on a sword, Get reverse. It looks better and has more potential than RK for the funding you're spending |

She'd have a hard time getting an Executioner to match her sexy Carabella, even with the funds she gets from selling it. Assuming she makers a 113~ Executioner, and gets it to 116 with level ups, she'd still need a lot of luck. She could use White Scrolls, but then she'd be digging deep into her own pocket. |

She'd be taking a loss just to make a 1H sword equal to her last one. That's silly. She's asking for an equivalent weapon, not a better one. Makering a 134 (or whatever) Executioner is far more difficult and more costly than buying a 116 RK. |

| The RK has about 111.1% advantage over the Carabella so in order to match your 134 Carabella you would need 114 ATK RK on 12 ATK pot, 113 ATK RK on 20-26 ATK pot. However, that's not all. On Apples, you would need only 106 ATK RK to match your 134 Carabella. Note that targets with high DEF like bosses lower RK's DPM more than they lower Carabella's DPM since RK does higher amount of hits per min. |

| My math says you'd need a 115 RK to match the carabella of yours. |

|
iFIew : 75 attack is the clean attack. It'd be 87/95 with warrior pots/ciders.
Did you include BoF with that? As a general statement: Looking at these numbers so far, I'd say a RK would outdamage a Carabella if you used an apple (for bossing mostly), but otherwise the Carabella would outdamage the RK without the apple. I'll calculate with and without the apple. 1.09 (RK + 87) = 134 + 87 RK = (134 + 87)/1.09 - 87 RK = 116 You'd need a 116 Watt RK to match your current set up. However, I'd suggest a 120 Watt one. There is no point in converting when you are only matching your current weapon. 1.09 (RK +175) = 134 + 175 RK = (134 + 175)/1.09 -175 RK = 108 In this case you'd only need a 108 Watt RK to match your current set up. But I'd suggest a higher Watt one again. As I said, no point in changing equips when they only match your current DPM. And you'd definitly want more Watt than this math shows you. It doesnt account for Wdef of your targets. You'll need a higher value for that and the fact that its pointless changing equips for no increase in DPM, unless you simply like blood soaked katanas. Also, if you happen to often train with a Buccaneer, stay with the Carabella. Speed infusion closes the gap between the two weapon speeds. However, its rare to have a Buccaneer by your side. Edit: silly me... I overlooked the fact that you use a Carabella and the fact that you have a 134 watt one... fixing this post now. |
