I recently recieved an email from a Nigerian gimp, which read: "I know this will come to you as a suprise because you do not know me. I am Okele Amodia; I work in Central Bank of Nigeria, packaging and courier department.I got your contact among others from a search on the internet and i was inspired to seek your co-operation, I want you to help me clear this consignment that is already in the Europe which I shipped through our CBN accredited courier agent. The content of the package is $20,000,000.00 all in $100 bills, but the courier company does not know that the consignment contains money. All I want you to do for me now is to give me your mailing address, your private phone and fax number, and I believe that at the end of the day you will have 30% and 70% will be for me. My identity must not be revealed to anybody. If this arrangement is okay by you, you can call +234 8020779988 or email me back, for security reasons other modalities will be discussed as soon as you get back to me indicating that you are ready to partake in this transaction. Note: You will act as the real owner of the said consignment. Warm regards to your family, Mr. Okele Amodi. Please email be back asap Thankyou." Not wanting to sound ignorant, I replied: "Hi. I am very interested in your proposition. However I am only willing to partake further if it is split as 40% for me and 60% for you. If you are still interested please e-mail me back as soon as possible. Thank you." Now he has sent me an e-mail saying: "DEAR ELVIS I thank you grateful for your acceptance of my proposition. I will need your mailing address, your private phone and fax number so I can arragne the necesary details for my brother. my borhter Adewole is in Bemuda and he is sending the courier but it cannot go straight to me in cote d'ivorie,it has to go through the Uk or AMerica first because of the laws in my country. please thank you for the help my friend for I have fallen on hard times here, i am in desperate need of the money. I kind thank you, Please send your details and I can tell my brother where to send the money HOw is your family mr? hope you are well Thank you okele Amodi" I have no idea how he got my real name, e-mail and my info.. What say you?

I find it funny how ignorant basil is. Anyways, here's what I replied: "I thank you for your swift response. As you can however appreciate, I do not feel comfortable giving my details over the internet to strangers, for reasons you can surely appreciate. Therefore if we are to continue with this I will need a picture of you with evidence that you are who you say you are. If you can provide this for me I will happily provide you with the details you require. Thank You, Elvis" When do I tell him I don't have a fax machine?
