No it's not just a game. It's A LOT more. I have had ENOUGH of you imbeciles calling ''MapleStory'' a game. MapleStory lets you interact with other people, share and much much more. Saying ''It's just a game..'' is a total lie. For example, I've met over 100 friends that have become a part of my life, what caused this to happen? MapleStory. I have united with over hundreds of people. And another example is I finally met my friend in real life, he had flown in near me so we met up, now after 9 months, were like siblings. /End rant. Sorry I couldn't explain properly but I'm doing homework+Basiling WhyGetLuk:Its a Lifestyle ^ EXACTLY!

I agree. =] I spend so much time on MS, it's not even funny, lol. xD The reason for this though, is because my boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship. The things we can do together are VERY limited. Webcam can only do so much. But when we're playing MS, finishing quests together, I feel like I'm actually DOING something. =] You know? ^___^

Interesting, I've never thought of it this way...but nonetheless, you never know who's behind the other monitor. You can't simply call everyone an "imbeciles" based on your facts alone, many people simply treat this as a game. It was never intended by Nexon to be a social network; even they themselves call it a game. Furthermore, I don't believe this is a topic worth ranting on.

When someone is ks'ing me, I'm not angry that I'm losing precious experience, but that the other person has the nerve to wreck my gameplay to further his/her own. At that point it becomes a social issue rather than a game issue. Uhh...that fits your assertion...right?

TY People don't understand that something you spend TIME and MONEY on is more than just a game. Yes, MS won't have much impact on your life, but the items and accomplishments in the game are real, and when you get hacked you're not losing a bunch of pixels, you're losing hard work, time, and money.

I didn't grind 24/7, I didn't leech, I didn't hack. I spent 4 years enjoying MapleStory and hit 200, not like it was the only purpose of my life. And I am loling at the people who think Im on MapleStory all day long, haha.
