1960's English Speech

Hey basil I'm having trouble writing a speech for english. We're doing this symposium speech 4 people to a group. My group got 1960's decade. Each member in the group is assigned a sub-topic. Mine is counterculture, and I want to focus on the hippies and drug use in the 1960's. Now the problem is I don't know which 3 main points to choose to focus on. So far all I have written down on a piece of paper is "Counterculture - History of hippies (how/when/why they started) How they influenced & changed america during that time (starting anti-war protests) The drug use..... So those are my 3 main points but I don't know if they are really good. I have no idea how I would start this speech, how to transition between the 3 main points, and where to research this. (Need to show sources) Please help me with providing me with alternative topics, sources, ideas, and anything else. I'd really appreciate it. This speech is my final one, and is worth 20% of my final grade, and also my groups. If I do this wrong I will ruin my grade and also my groups.
