Help with spearman please :)

Im bored with my aran so i've decided to make my first adventurer and i choose spearman, i've never done any statless character and i think im experienced enough to make this new character my main and my best character so far, i would like to go dexless and hybrid in this character but i have nooo idea of what does it takes to make a good character. Im not funded at all, my budget for this spearman will be 100m but i do have items i will give him from my aran ( wg, ic2, polearms, deputy star etc. ) so i would like basils advice on these topics - When should i cape my dex with my current bof and funding? ( I have 10 bof if someone would be nice enough to make any dex calculations ) - Can someone please explain me or give me the link to a good hybrid guide ( i dont like the one here in basil ) Hope u can help me

id give u all 4 of my skis that are pretty good scrolled (from my delted spearman) but im in scania and ur in broa...

Imo you should do Pure PA, given your already available equipment. Plus PA is so much faster (potentially) the damage can get ridiculous. But that's just me. Since BoF 10 is 10 accuracy, you have a somewhat nice buffer zone. You can try dexless and see how that works out for you. If all else fails, cap at 30 Dex maximum. You're able to add Dex whenever afterall. I have BoF 6 and did fine the last 80+ levels. Hybrid guides can be found in hidden-street.net It's not that complicated really. You simply skip FA and Iron Will, thus you have enough SP for max-ing both boosters. Then in 3rd Job you do the same as any other Pure weapon DK with one exception: You only get 1 atk skill maxed for each weapon as supposed to 2 skills for the same weapon. After that, you're good for life in 4th Job getting just the same skills as any other DrK =D

But as far as ive seen in the guides in basil, it seems that pole arm is good til 3rd job, but at 4th job spears are better?

Spearmans and DKs were my inspiration to play MS, but they were too slow so I gave up. Cant live without haste~~~~

Well i've trained my aran all the way with normal speed so i dont really care about that hope u train your spearman again thou!

yeah, go for the hybrid build. in 3rd job, fury will be your best friend, and pole arms will give you the best damage from fury. in 4th job, crusher will take over, so spears will get more damage by then. also, because of the 3 slash 2 stab ratio, pole arms will be better through 3rd job.

Thanks for the help guys! I'll go hybrid, but I would apreciate if someone could tell me if I can go with a dexless spearman with 100m for funding, 10 BoF and when to cape dex? I was thinking around 20-40, what do u think?
