title pretty much says it all. but also, i don't know wether or not i should because i do not like the fact they use pole arms/ i don't know why its just the fact that arans also use them. i like spears because of there incredible range ( for a warrior that is ) and they are cheap to fund. i just don't know wether or not i should go with page or some other job. I for sure want a melee job. I am tired of long range. like slinger, assassin, etc. and pretty much all sins that have no dex are snobs and i dont want to end up like that. XD well yeah. tips please. (just noticed ive posted forums of changing my character like 4 times, and theyre all different classes.)

Well hate to tell you this but people like hybrid spearman builds over pure spear go read spearman guides on basil and you'll see that hybrids have a clear advantage over pure spear. from what i've read there your pretty much using polearm until around lvl 130 if ur hybrid but w/e who cares i like spears too so my lvl 59 spearman is pure spear. i got really into when i saw my dk friend with an omega spear. i thought it was really pro (and this was when omega spears were pretty much as high as a weapon got. ver. 4x?5x?) also if ur not getting past 120, go for dawn warrior

All you're going to get here are biased opinions... Try making one and see, they may suit you... Just as long as you don't think DPM is the only factor in this game.

I made a spearman 2 days ago...gave myself free wins in cpq till 40 then im pypqing atm. Not fun but itll be worth it in 3rd job
