Have you ever been mistaken for another race? I'm 100% Chinese (northern province) except for a German great-grandfather that I had. My skin colour is tan/brown (born and raised in San Diego) , and I don't look "typically" Chinese (as in HK, Shanghai, Beijing) I've been mistaken for a filipino, korean, japanese, vietnamnese, maori, and mexican. SO HOW ABOUT YOU LOT

Whenever i meet someone new and we become friends, i ask them. Where do you think im from? They usually answer, guyanese, hindi, or something like that. BUt im from ecuador... Spanish ....

You're not 100% Chinese if you had a German great-grandfather.. o.o I'm Chinese and I think I look Chinese, but when I had a friend guess what she thought I was, she first guessed Korean, then Viet, then Taiwanese >_>; Other than that, I'm pretty sure most other people can tell that I'm Chinese.

People call me Japanese JUST because i'm asian. It gets annoying, because i speak different languages with my parents, and they'll go "OMG SHES SPEAKING JAPANESE!" I know its not intended to be rude or anything, but i get annoyed. I mean if you wanna say it you should atleast get it right.. I'm actually Chinese/Korean though..
