That was integrated into my Laptop, and I need to get a better card. My computer is a toshiba satellite (I'm not sure which model, I got it in July) My friend says that it will be impossible to get a different graphics card, so yeah, Is this true?

It's impossible for most laptops to upgrade their graphics card. There are *some* laptops that can, but most likely your laptop is not one of them.

If you already have a dependable laptop, a desktop is the way to go. Easier to replace parts should they ever malfunction, although space can sometimes be an issue. Generally, it costs a fair bit more to upgrade a laptop's hardware.

I would imagine that if you really want to replace your laptop's GPU, you can do it if you want to replace the motherboard it came with as well.

If it's integrated, then you cannot change it so easily. Mine, for example, is integrated into the motherboard so now way I'm gonna change that :O (HP Compaq Business Notebook, T8100 @ 2.1 GHz, 2GB DDR2 RAM, Intel GMA 965)
