NLs Vs. CorsairsIs there a Comparison?

Okay, so I as long as I have been playing maple, NLs were the class that's had the speed and power+flashy skills(of course), and ksing, but lately I've been seeing threads about Corsairs and how the dmg is the same if not even better you know. I wasn't aware of this... do corsair actually have some advantages like NLs when it come to bossing, b/cuz I didn't know they were something to be messed with. So my question is are Corsairs that good when it come to dmg, b/cuz to me compared to a NL when it come to dmg is a big deal. Also there aren't any videos of Corsairs in Basil I wonder why..... Post questions and answers plz, also this isn't a debate of which is stronger just if Corsairs are hype as I've been seeing. corsairs are great in terms of dmg. They are best at bossing (zakum)

Damage wise Corsairs are better than NLs, if allowed to sit in one place and spam. NLs have a speed advantage though, and have lots of useful things such as alchemist that even it out overall. To answer the question above me, Corsairs are great for bossing, highest DPM at bosses. However, it may be cheaper to go on a boss-run with NLs depending on apple usage and speed of the run. Remember, a NL with alchemist can use fewer apples than a corsair. @below NLs do less damage than corsairs to bosses. However, they are cheaper to use as members, if the leader gives apples. Overall, there's not enough of a difference to matter as far as being accepted to a run goes. You'll be fine, don't quit.

OMFG i wanna know too cuz if it turns out corsairs are going to be better than NL's at bossing DPM (by bossing i mean HT zak and Scar/targ) then i will be so POed that i even bothered with this char. If any1 does know the answer to this please post with significant data TY Consider: Shadow shifter,Buffs/apple, and the corsairs reshipping or w.e idk how that ckill even works...

Corsair are better then NL when they are in battleship But slightly weaker with RF Also in ship, sair get stunned and hitted alot. NL's avoid a hugh amount of the attackes In theory Corsair is better, but if u really wanna compare, u needa check at zak ingame, so u can include game difficulties, like stun, hits, seals. ect...

If we are talking about plain just, only their base skills and no Attack Buffs in anyway. The Corsair can deal better damage. I for one, played both, playing styles are both different, as a Corsair, you have more option on attacks, while NL's just stay on Triple Throw. Counts on your game-style as well. If you're talking situation or actual game play, it depends on the player, never the character.

[/quote] Lol slightly weaker w/ RF? they're RF is like a BM w/o critical, they're significantly weaker than a NL when they're outside of battleship. I'd say it rly depends on lvl and the boss. HT their ship breaks way faster b/c it hits 8k, zak breaks slower on arms but faster at body b/c of 1/1. And higher lvl sair has more hp on ship. I'd say up to 170 NLs are better, then at 170+ its pretty even. Ppl tend to only look at battleship dmg. But even w/ sair's cheappppp equips, i still outdmg them at bosses in all cases w/ SE and both of us appo'ing.

corsairs have higher DPS but are a huge pain in the rear to train to high lvl.

Don't start this. Corsair DPS > NL DPS. NL > Corsair. That's it. If I had to choose one I would prob pick Corsair if I could Hp wash it.

[/quote] its pretty easy to dismount for 1 second when it does 1/1 and w/o se rf is stronger than tt
