Why is hacking maplestory accounts so easy theses days?

I mean really cmon, I know people getting hacked left and right, quitting maple because of it. Is it because Nexon just lazy on its security or people just becoming smart and worst getting better at hacking?

People getting better at hacking, people release login ID more, Nexon poor secruity, and to many people blaming Nexon for them getting hacked when they visit un secure sites or DL unsecure files.

They just dont bother on following Nexon's new TOS, so they dont change their passwords every 3 months or so, they dont bother to put in a complex PIC with numerical and alphabetical characters like it is recommended....Not their fault...But OURS...

[/quote] True, and these are not our accounts, these are just something we are borrowing, people think it's ours, but it's in their data and we play on their game. We don't own anything on Maple, it is shared by Nexon, for us.

people make bad pins my friends old pin was 1111 and i said it wasnt safe so he did 1212 -_- and his pass was maplestory111 i told him not safe and he changed to maplestory123 -_- but now its safe cause idk it =P

[/quote] A recent study (combined with common sense) made by CBS (Well, reported by CBS news) shows that changing your password every month, three months, etc - doesn't help you at all. You see, if someone has ACCESS to your account, why in the world would they wait for weeks, months, years to log into it again? They don't! Once someone has access to your account, they take it, and do whatever.
