Worth it to continue my gunslinger

So i created a slinger a few days ago. Is it worth it to continue and fund it? Are corsairs really a good dpm late game?

I made one last week and i 4xed my way up to lvl 60 and its way more fun than my nl the only thing to worry about is that if nexon decides to make a slinger legend , we're all screwed in other words NEXOwned
