What web browser do you use? I've been using internet explorer my whole life (i'm 16 lol) until today. so today i was talking about why people don't like internet explorer today in band and p.e. class today at school. they just said that ie sucks and that they use firefox (or most of them did) and some used google chrome. so now i'm trying to decide whether to switch from ie to firefox, but i'll need better reasons than "I.E. sucks". (btw: My first day using only firefox to try and compare those two)... but whats your guys thoughts/opinions/reasons/etc? Why do people think ie sucks than other web browsers? for poll, reason is optional. :P edit: so far 1:12:4:1 @ 23:45 BT. firefox pwning? edit2: so i guess people dont like I.E. cause its slower than firefox/chrome. Which brings me to my next question. Firefox OR Chrome? i also like sp3ll ch3ck3r on firefox (sp3ll ch3ck3r doesn't show up as incorrect spelling lol)

i use firefox because whenever i use google chrome it has this weird glitch thingy where i press one button and the page scrolls all the way back to the top -_-

Google Chrome at home b/c it looks nicer. At my friends house I use Firefox on his laptop b/c I got him this smexi Ceiling Cat banner/backround thingie.

I use firefox because my dad told me to use it instead of IE when I was ten and I never really cared. IE was very slow on the computer I was using at the time too. Now I just use firefox cause I'm used to it and I'm too lazy to get chrome.

So pretty much anything is better than I.E.? o.O Looks like a tie between firefox VS. chrome right now does chrome get customization like firefox? and can anyone explain customizing things in firefox to a newbie like me?

oooh. free skins to change background. i've never had speed issues with I.E., but firefox certainly does seem to load faster. does chrome also load significantly faster than I.E.? but the one thing i don't like about firefox is that it recognizes my teacher's websites (thats provided by my school district) as having an "invalid security certificate" [i]"schooldistrictwebsite".org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)[/i] whats this all mean? i dont think my school district would send viruses, but this is kinda concerning for me. only firefox picks this up btw. i dunno about chrome @kevvl AND etopkapa: cool a mod responded to my thread :I again edit: im guessing firefox has really cool/nice customization things, while chrome doesn't? and do you guys recommend investigating the customization or will it be really complicated? ima internet newb...
