Wooo...How in the hell do you beat this guy? When he uses his killer move, I just cant survive. I buff my entire party using hope, I keep Lightning as medic, and I use fang as my sentinel when he's about to use the move. But, everytime I end up dying....

What boss is it again? and Lightning as a medic is FAIL. Use hope/Vanille. Tell me what boss it is and i'll tell you how to beat it.

Haha, I got stuck there too. For a VERY long time. Anyway... My tip: At the start, give everyone the same element resistant ring, and kill that element the last (not a must, but helps). Have Lightning as Commando, Snow as Sentinel and Hope as Ravager most of the time. Lightning stays Commando (or Ravager), Snow as Sentinel (to either com or rav when attacking, opposite of what lightning is) Anyway, I'm guessing you've killed the parts already, now he's only head. Keep the shift mentioned first in this comment. When he starts charging, go ALL OUT as fast as you can. Put Lightning as Commando/Rav, Snow as Com/rav, Hope as Rav. Keep attacking as much as you can AFTER healing the party fully. You can actually break his guard, did you know? I had no idea. You don't actually "break" it, you make that charge attack WAY weaker than before. Just keep attacking, when he uses the missile attack, change Light to Med, Snow to Sen, Hope to Med to heal up real quick. Then repeat. Oh, Just don't forget to summon. Not that you have to, but it helps. Do it while he's NOT charging (I tried while, almost died). That's all, good luck.

Go farm some CP if you don't have enough HP. Go earn some money (kill soldier for incentive chip and sell then upgrade weapon) Strategy (Go all out at once, no need for sentinel if you follow the top 2).

I used Lightning, Sazh and Vanille for that battle. When the battle begins have Sazh be a synergist, have him cast all buffs but most importantly HASTE AND VIGILANCE. Keep Hope and Lightning as medics while Sazh is buffing. When your all buffed have Sazh as a Commando and Lightning as Medic and Hope as a Synergist. Get him to also buff the whole team like hell. Once your all buffed switch to the Relentless Assault paradigm and slowly fill your stagger gauge. Whenever you get attacked switch to the Medic Commando Medic paradigm and heal up. Keep switching back and forth through these paradigms until the little heads on his sides are all dead. Then the battle just becomes straightforward of switching between Relentless Assault and the Healing paradigm. Good Luck ;D

you dont need to upgrade weapons ^ Neither do you need any Decent Accessories, Since the faces are the only ones that deal elemental damage, and they go down really fast, The main Boss then only casts non-elemental Damage, but theyre Big AoE attacs like Ruinaga, So hope having Cura (AoE heal) is reallyhelpful. Just use Hope to buff/Heal fang to debuff and keep the stagger gauge nice and slow with commando Lightning to blitz the faces and ravager to boost that stagger gauge. I messaged you the Paradgrims in more detail anyway aha. i hope i helped.

What you need to do is when he starts to use that move you actually keep hitting him until he like flinches(not stagger) then the move does less damage and you will be able to survive it.

I beat him on my first try. It wasn't hard at all o.o You just can't play defensively. You need to constantly attack whenever you get the chance.
