What is the point of drop game?

So far i have been seeing a lot of people in fm advertising about drop game. Is it a scam or something? Is it amusing in anyway? Please tell me

Well what people do in the henesys pot shop is that they take turns dropping an item and if you manage to get the other person's item, you can keep it. Usually a scam though.

Most people scam in drop games. Some just have fun. I don't play drop games but for some reason, I like to watch people play. EDIT: @ Above: Well they take that risk and when the time is right, the person takes the other persons item and runs.

It's a scam in which people take turns dropping a 'rare' or 'valuable' item. There are usually a group (or just partnership) working together with this plot, in which you play the DG in an area that can conceal people well (even with the mini-map). They would tell you to drop there, and without you noticing it, the item would be stolen. However, if you get lucky, and the scammer(s)' plot fails, they usually get angry and curse/spam/threaten you. In general, it's not worth participating in this 'game'. However, at times, it's quite amusing to watch...

Drop games in which people tell you to drop your 4 best items or something are scams. Real drop games go something like this: 1. Person A drops an item, and loots it back before Person B can loot it from the ground. If Person B loots the item before Person A, B gets to keep the item. 2. Person B drops an item, and loots it back before Person A can loot it. If Person A loots the item before Person B, A gets to keep the item. 3. Repeat over and over until one person gives up or runs out of items. If you're a good drop gamer, you'll make much more money drop gaming than merchanting.

Running isn't really breaking the rule because technically (and I know i'm pushing it here), you can quit the game at any time.

Its a way to get more items if your good at it... my friend got like 100knx from putting the items he got in the mts

Just a game for people who get bored. You can win some items, but usually only the mages win with their teleport. A lot of people end up getting scammed though ._.

So basically scamming is dg? o_o I've been watching dg players for 6 months since my comp. can't handle crowded areas. Each time I log in = Henesys pot shop. Luckily, it's fixed now

If they are advertising in the fm it's most likely a scam, but most people in hene pot shop that dg usually never scam. Playing a drop game is a fun past time for me.
