New chaos scroll hunting spot?

I caught the last hour of the 2x event on my Evan. I went to cold eyes just to mess around. In the hour, I found 2 chaos scrolls. Was this just luck? Or are cold eyes good for people who hunt these scrolls? (I think there better than drum bunnies)

The 2x event was 2x Exp and 2x Drop... there was a better chance of it dropping but still, you are really lucky

Ouch, if Broa's Chaos Scroll prices are nearly as screwed up as Scania's, thats kinda like a sucker punch to the gonads. Right AFTER they get severely deflated, you come across 2 items that used to be considered among the most expensive in the game >.<

I also hit some luck yesterday, cuz I actually got a chaos scroll from Red Slimes at NEO CITY out of ALL PLACES.

the luckiest I got was when I found a chaos scroll in 4 mins inside the z-mushy dungeon, no 2x drop. Apparently, I dont get anything good when I use 2x drop....
