Fake antivirus problem

This fake antivirus, digital protection is trying to get me to buy their product, i have run my antivirus, trend micro office scan(its very reliable) and i have seen no messages telling me i have viruses . They are bombarding me with messages, how do i get rid of them and the whole program? If you are giving me a link, tell me what fake antivirus you had

What's the name of the Rouge Anti-Virus program? If your current AV can't find it,it means it's unreliable. Download Malwarebytes-Anti Malware Spybot Search and Destory SuperAntiSpyware And a better AV.

I had the same problem, one scan with Malwarebytes fixed it.

That's spyware, not a virus. As said above, get Spybot S&D or AdAware (I recommend Spybot).

This happened to my last week on a different computer of mine. It was called like xp antivirus or something. My dad got something called rkill and followed some instructions to get rid of it. Malwarebytes is great I recommend it, try looking for the rkill thing in google. Sorry I can't be better help I wasn't there when my dad fixed it.

Yes it's probably Windows XP,Vista Anti Virus 2010. Go to Google.com Download rkill and follow the instructions on how to delete it. You might need 2 computers/laptops and a USB Flash Drive.

whenever I want to remove something, I go to C:/ProgramFiles/(NameOfAntiVirusHere) and just delete the whole file :3 or you can do it the old fashion way by going to control panel and removing the program
