Why Karstans are better than Arcglaives.

First let's start off with the base stats of each. Arcglaive ATK 102 M.ATK 89 Effects: STR +2 Speed +5 7 Slots Normal Speed Karstan ATK 85 Effects: ACC +35 STR +3 7 Slots Normal Speed As you can see, both polearm's are Normal speed. The arcglaive is superior in attack, but the karstan has a lot more accuracy. Now let me tell you why Karstans are better than Arcglaives. In Bera Arcglaives go for 400-600m CLEAN < 102 att. And they're often scrolled with 60%'s making the finished product usually between 110-118 att. When scrolled their prices sky rocket. I've seen a 112 Arcglaive go for 550m. Now, here's why the karstan is better. In Bera a 110 Karstan is at max 400m. See the difference? So, in the end you're paying an extra 200-300m for 2-5 attack. When that money could be put towards getting a better PAC, or FS. Not only that but you gained 35 acc. Which will lower your need for DEX. All in all, if you can find a good 110++ Karstan that's cheap, it's defiantly better than an arcglaive.

In MSEA they drop from gallos... If GMS hopefully gets the same drops one day then luckily they wont very very expensive since there'll be like a thousand flying around the FM

Psb's are special BECAUSE they're rare! if they were everywhere, and everyone had them, what would be special about them? everything is relative, it's not fun to be awesome and have a psb if everyone else have them as well.

IMO, Karstans ARE better. They are only overshadowed by Arcglaives once you find one that's just as well scrolled as a Karstan and you have enough mesos to buy a lot of dex gear.

Arcglaive>Karstan for 2 reasons. 1. It has the potential for more attack (good luck getting a karstan w/ more than ~135 Att). 2. It makes you walk 5% faster. Also unless you're a noob you don't need the 35 Acc to 100% hit what you train on. Also lets be realistic, most players can't afford a good Karstan. While an Arcglaive you can just make yourself, and 60% and walla a 108~114 Att Normal (6) weapon. It's also rare to see a Karstan with that much attack. Over 105 Att is pretty hard to make, and is normally very expensive (since it's lv64 and has as much att as a lv100 weapon it will cost more than a 105 glaive (a 105 glaive cost very little since it's worse than 100%ed)).

[/quote] Low supply > Rage of players > More complaints why Nexon fails > more people quitting their Aran's 'cause they can't stand the slow attacks. High supply > Happy players > more 4th job Aran's > Nexon gets some credit for doing something useful.

[/quote] Making a Arcglaive takes more than 100 mil to make. Assuming you buy woods for 600k each, that's 300,000,000 mesos. Not to mention the other materials. I think I did the math wrong. Also, most Arcglaives are 102 att clean.

To match your head, greedy freakin drk. All of us dont have max meso x 10 to buy godly polearms, psb should be released as an easy to get weapon and it should be welcomed in gms, not shunned because of greedy ppl like you. Im a level 15x aran, and my range is crap. Share the love.
