Its about Blue Kents. Me and my friend are heading there. We both have a base dex of 60, and are pretty strong, but we were wondering. Is it a good idea? Why not? Its extremely good EXP* I'm 70, my friend is 64.
raymond10123 : Blue kents are HORRIBLE for arans. I trained on WS from 70-85. I got 200% per hour. Even with pet auto hp, you would both die.
You're over-exaggerating.
johny2toes : Uh... training there is alot easier for an Aran then a Mage. For one, Drain = almost no potions used. Second, Fenrir = Way faster then killing then any mage can do.
Please don't post when you do not know what you are talking about. First of all i have trained at both WS,WR, and Kents. And out of the best for levels 64-71 you should stay at WR. 71-80 Wolf Spiders. Kents are such a horrible option because of the pot drain. I barely used 100 pots over 2 hours at WS. @Johny2toes: You realize fenrir lowers your %/hr, it uses 100 combo, and you do not even get the skill till level 100. Please your ignorance isn't welcome.
Hey did you even bother to look at my characters? I'm Bera's former top Aran (Frosthore) and I trained all the way there I think I know what I'm talking about. Fenrir speeds up Kent training AMAZINGLY, also have you looked at how it compared to Smash? It's alot stronger even with needing more combos. also at the map with all Blue Kents you already are back up to like 40 combo after using it and you're hitting pretty much max 12 mobs so you're practically spamming fenrir. Kents have alot of HP to be taking out at such a low level, Fenrir helps. Second, I also have an Ice Mage, at lv 89 it's ALOT slower at Kents. And 4xing it... By alot I mean about 200% difference. Wolf Spiders were horrible, the spawn of WS is horrible 'cept for the bottom platform, and the exp isn't really that great compared to the mobs of blue kents stacking up. Maybe you should learn how to properly train at Kents before you go bashing someone with more experience then you training there. Your pot usage probably speaks for it's self with that you don't know what you're doing. I barely used 100 pots at Kents in 8 hours.

johny2toes: Aw, thanks. But I tried it yesterday, it is really pot burning, but of my experience, I know I am doing something wrong. You know a right way to do it? Or something? And to all those who thought it was a bad idea. Its worth it, but my pot burning could be fixed.
Training at blue kents can gather a level an hour if not more on 1x, thing is it's not worth the pot burn. At lv. 7x you will be majorly pot burning for a while. Stormbreakers/Wind Raiders are a cheaper alternative and have bearable EXP for now. I suggest training there till you can't stand it then going on to blue kents. Blue kents made a huge dent in my pot money using about 800 barbs in an hour.

I did 1 level at Blue Kents and regretted it. Such an annoying map, such annoying mobs. I burned a lot of pots, probably because I'm not some HP washed Aran that can afford to eat 3+ hits from Blue Kents at the time. I found the KB from their ranged attack to be very annoying, and felt like I had little control over the mobs. Sure, I killed them plenty and leveled up just fine, but I didn't enjoy my time there at all compared to other options at that level. Compared to TJ, WR and WS, I found Blue Kents to be worse to train on because of the pot burn and general frustration when combatting their constant ranged KB.

red kents are pretty awesome for arans => arans are ice based i recommend u to use drain and ice charge at the same time drain=>HP ice charge => more dmg for red kents I still train there at lvl 88 becasue there are too many ppl ksing at gallos during 2x events basically drain helps you alot for kents if you get to lvl 85 => almost no pots used

Not to burst all your bubbles but Red Kents really can't compare to Blue Kents... For one, the Blue Kent map is the largest one and best mob filled. better mobs > element weak Even if your damage is higher at Red kents it's not going to make up for the mob capability of Blue ones...

lol well I never trained at kents, ive been there to kill manon and griffy and noticed that they die faster (red kents), so thats why i said that. How many hits does it take you to kill a blue kent anyway?
