Is It Worth Continuing a Bandit?

I feel like my chief bandit is going to become completely useless when Dual Bladers come out. They are stronger, faster, flashier, etc. I already feel like my CB is sort of useless compared to a lot of the other classes. We're already overshadowed by sins as well. Whether or not the bandit class will become completely obsolete, it is obvious (to me, at least) that they will overshadow Bandits. Who would want to make a bandit when they can make a similar, yet stronger and flashier, dual blader? So my question is, should I bother to continue my bandit? I don't care about being "unique." I just want to be a class where I can contribute more, have good damage, and have just as much fun if not more. I already have 2 other classes that I'm willing to train: my level 48 Aran and 23 Evan. I also have a level 46 DEXless brawler, but I'm not really sure if I want to play that either.

I wouldn't continue the bandit. I'm not sure which job to choose of the choices you gave me, either . I'm leaning towards Aran and Evan, but I'm still not sure. The Aran is already a good level, but the Brawler is as well. A brawler also reminds me a lot of a CB in it's fun-ness(?), but I'm not sure how well it contributes to bossing, etc. It does have good damage though. Plus, it might be overshadowed again by the pirate legend, which we don't know anything about. I guess Aran is the safest bet.

I was leaning towards Aran too, Dexter. But I feel like it's sort of repetitive =/ I've been PyPQing and it gets really boring T_T...and when I'm bored I can't train.

Dont leave your adventurer, Bandits are one of the nicest jobs ingame, far for strongest, but really pro.

I'd still go with Aran. It gets better as you play, and there are more training spots after 50+. You could probably get great EXP at Truckers and what not at your level too. If you're strong enough, try MP3 as well when you get bored. Also, try other PQs, there are a lot at your level. I don't know how else to cure your boredom and help you train faster, so I guess the only way is to diversify your training spots and PQs.

Brawlers are similiar to bandits in their playing style (multiple attacks you actually use and switch between) while having more/useful party skills such as Speed Infusion and Time Leap. As to the DB's, they -may- overshadow bandits, but we'll just have to see. The bandit class has survivability which DB's do not (unless you excessively hp wash or perhaps when they come out with +hp% for items), but yes, they will probably be wanted for boss runs more and seem to be a fun solo class. I would go Brawler (for previous-stated reasons) or Aran as Arans are easy to train, have an interesting playing style, and contribute some to parties/can boss rather ok from what I know.

I made an assassin before, and I got really bored of it . Plus, it also has expenses that I am not willing to pay for. @Ravordyn That's the same reason I feel like playing my brawler. I'm still confused about which job to pick though, because what if the Pirate legend owns brawlers and I have to start again. =/ @Dexter Thanks! @Hjytmow10 I hope they do, but watching videos of them it's hard to say =/ Mages at least still have an advantage over Evans in that they have a better ultimate. The only advantage CBs have is better HP/survivability/smoke bomb... So DBs still could train better than we and boss better than we.

Dual Bladers are the worst thing to happen to this game. Instead of making new classes, they should just upgrade the ones we already have. DB's are just going to overshadow EVERY class. I wont feel bad though, because even though people are going to chose DB's over Bandits, Bandits are not attackers anyway, so they wont be competing with us. I feel bad for the Corsairs, and the NL's though.

there upgrading shadowers in the balance patch and shadowers arent that weak ive seen 1 do 32k per hit with boomerang and 40k per hit with 1click assasinate (goes into ds then hits assasiante without charging) hit 40k,40k,40k,then 50k i doubt most jobs can do that much that fast even DBs

Daggers prices are gonna skyrocket, and I will have to pay for them so I can play a job that isn't as good in almost every aspect. @above It isn't that Shads are weak, it's that their attacks are slow. So their damage on 1 target is weaker overtime. And have you seen DB videos? They are crazy T-T.

[/quote] He meant after balance patch. (Which is before DB release, supposedly) So yeah, we will be up in DPM with Heroes supposedly.
