My girlfriend is mad at me

Long story, read if you want to. I need help on how to apologize please. This is what happened: Yesterday (Friday), I had a lacrosse game but I sprained my ankle pretty bad. I could barely walk after that but once we got back to school, I got in my car and went to see my girlfriend (Lets call her Jane). She came out and we sat by steps where we usually meet. Then she told me how she hung out with her friend (lets call her jackie), jackie's boyfriend (Lets call him Jack), and jack's friend who I have no idea what he is called so letse say Eric. She also mentioned that Eric was a very funny guy. So while they were hanging out, jackie tells Eric that "Jane wants your d***" as joke. Eric then decides to walk towards Jane. Then she stopped the story. When I asked what happened? she said that she "ran away kind of" Later on, Jane begins to get all sad for some reason and tells me that she is bothering herself. I try to cheer her up and I asked what else makes her happy she says "her friend that goes to another school" -_- That kind of pissed me off seeing as I was going a bad job to cheer her up. Throughout this whole time, she didn't want to kiss me and would avoid eye contact with me. Then when I left I started to think to myself that she seemed guilty of something. 1. no eye contact 2. She was bothering herself or something else was 3. barely any kisses I finally got home and thought that maybe she had cheated on me with Eric. I decided not to think too much of it because I might have been over analyzing things or just paranoid. Still, I decided to ask her if she had cheated on me. This is how the txts were: Me: "Did you cheat on me?" Her: "No. Where is this coming from? Wth!" Me: "Idk i was jw! " Her: "Okay. Do yu think I'm tat type of girl? Honestly..wow.. Juss don't talk to me.kay." I tried to apologize but she wouldn't respond to me so I decided to give her time. I know it was dumb of me to ask her like that or that I even asked her at all. But then a thought came into my head, why was she so defensive? If she didn't, wouldn't she try to reassure me in a calm way instead of getting angry like that? But then again everyone acts differently. So I have decided to let it go for now and I'm trying to see how I can apologize. Do you guys have any ideas on how to apologize? I can't really go over there because I can barely walk and I would have to take the bus since my mom is using my car Thanks for reading :P

I wouldn't let her win that easily. Are you sure she didn't cheat on you? If it's still bothering you, it's going to come out in the future. It's better to deal with it now, definitively.

Tell her, "If you really care about me, then tell me the truth." She should be straight with you, from the start. Don't apologize just yet. I get the feeling that she is hiding something, or else she wouldn't be defensive.

no you're an idiot TS. by accusing her of cheating you're saying "hey i don't trust you" also she needed emotional support at the time. When you need emotional support and your BF accuses you of cheating is stupid
