Amount of att for a 1h sword to be better than a 2h sword?

Well I have a 63 Att 0 slot lionheart and was wondering how much AT&T my glowing whip would need to be better than it. The glowing whip is 66 att 6 slots left ( I no it sux) thx

The point is, a 1H Sword is supposed to be fore those with proper funding. That way, you can afford the extra att from a shield.

Given an average 1H speed of Fast(5) and a 2H speed of Normal(6), the 1H would normally only need about 5-6% more attack. Of course, the Lionheart and Glowing Whip are both Fast(4), you would need a 73 ATT Whip or a 7 ATT shield to outdamage the Lionheart (assuming 0 DEX in damage calculations).

What 4023 said sounds more alike a real referenced answer for TS question. Still, TS should look at stickied threads at the warrior forum for the math to answer his question (AKA: Read the stickies before making threads).

[/quote] yay a decent answer. your math is pretty good. i'm going to assume you used the 1.15 factor for the 1h-2h conversion and thats why you said 0 dex. most people actually use a 8/7 conversion rate which compensates for a "decent" amount of dex (which its really not definitive, but it's pretty close) which still leads to 63*8/7=72 which still needs a 73 atk whip to BEAT it.
