yea i do miss the old times the times that a new job was just unthinkable a thing that was almost never going to happen... now we have gotten Aran, Evan, Blaze Wizard, Night Walker, Thunder Breaker, and Wind Archer... soon to get Dual Bladers then after that the next "Legand" job back when level 50 was a big accomplishment was the good old times...

but then again in the good old days it wasn't as fun to level up. You would've grinded on zombies for like 20 levels (I still never went there, it was crap exp for me to begin with, even before all the nice other little monsters came out).

Darn conservatives, it's all about progression guys. :| I think all of this new content coming out is great, you regret moving forward but if we were still like we were when we had the jewel cursor then we'd have quit the game because it'd have been too repetitive. I mean, even now people complain about how they just spam one skill, but back then we shared the same maps for a lengthy amount of time. I honestly don't think the old days when Ludibrium didn't exist or when FoG was good exp was all that great. :| Now I realize Nexon has made many mistakes lately, but every company has their downfall, you'll find out that there's a lot of companies who've done worse than what Nexon has done now, and as you grow mature you'll be thankful Nexon doesn't do what some of these other companies did to make money.

The updated MS is overrated in my opinion. MS was fine before all this over upgrading. I miss the days when just being level 50 would be "pro". Back then leveling was just for fun, not a race full of hacks and leech. Things have changed alot if you compare this with Beta :/

Yeah, I definitely agree. Before all these new jobs, everyone who you met was on their main to have fun, not on some nub Aran desperate to level and bragging about their godly equips. Everyone was also so much nicer 2 years ago. Maplestory now is a travesty of what it once was.

Maple was always a travesty of damage whores and ksing jerkasses. That being said, I like the new MS. The new jobs are fun and refreshing, I love the new content, and I can actually have some fun leveling up. Even if people level ridiculously fast I still feel a sense of accomplishment in getting to 30, 70, 120 and advancing jobs--because I define my own sense of accomplishment, not a bunch of 4x abusing leeching kiddies.

it's not all that bad with the new jobs...I'm enjoying evan and reliving the old days..the only problem is they changed too many maps, mostly for the worst in some cases. (If the subway has bubblings, why would we need a tree full of them?) then there's leech, leech, leech... not to mention gachapon, items, scrolls of nearly every %, blah blah blah -goes on and on- white scrolls and vicious hammers..what ever happened to true godly scrolling?

Well I can respect the Cygnus Knights, they did add a lot of variety but at the same time accomodated those who don't maple as much. But with the Arans/Evans/Dual Bladers, that's going a little too far, because now maple will be dominated by a large amount of one class rather than a small amount of each class.
