So, I managed to sign up for JMS with a friend's help. The game's downloading, so I'd like to know if I'm going to have to make some changes with my windows/computer/net in order to run JMS. Also, is it possible to keep both GMS and JMS on the same computer? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PM me. I will fill you in with the details on how to connect to and play JapanMS. It's apparently against the rules of BasilMarket to discuss about the work-around you need to use to connect to the game from outside of Japan. :X
