MG Mastery Book Didn't Work

I spent a few hours filling out surveys to get 2k NX, and when i bought my Book and clicked on it, it said it was upgrading MG, but when I went to see my new Magic Guard stats, I had none...is there something I did wrong...? The Sp was still at 5 and and the arrow for upgrading was grey. What should I do...? I'm definitely not fulling out more surveys.

upgrading means that it allows you to add points to it before the max level was 5 its 20 now.

But it should be at lv6 cuz it adds 1 point into the skill when you use it.
