Funding not needed? Not really

I thought about it and people always say lukless evans don't need funds. How can this be true? All the maple wands/staves are like 10mil+...

To be honest 10mil isn't that much. 1. Borrow 10mil from a friend. 2. Buy 10% overall dex scrolls. 3. Mech 10 more mil to pay your friend back. 4. Repeat step 3 without the payback. Pretty much^^All that.

lol......its because all u neeed is 100%ed equips simple as that think of it this way, at lvl 50 if I have a 100%ed lvl 8 wand 100% scrolled (23+7) 30 Attack at lvl 50 you get a Croni which avg. is 63 (63+7) 70 100%ed . Looking at these example for the unfunded the lukless would have 50 more luk but the luk mage would only have 40 more attack. the lukless would be 10 magic attack ahead. There are alot of variable but you get the idea xD Good Luck!

I made mine lukless I'm using the beginner mage wand at level 30 Beginner clothes too ... And the Marbas hat. That's all :D And I can almost hit 1k with the thunder thing I bought 100 mana elixirs and everything else came from quests :D Edit: And Black Gumoshins or w/e they're called now: Korean Shoes?

lol I'm lvl 33 right now lukless...with 100%ed beginner wand (untradeble), marbas hat, beginner clothes, 5 m.att weight earring, 10 bless and already hitting 1.2-1.3k with lightning o.O i consider this as unfunded...

[/quote] -- Probably wrong now since i found out you get the low level weapons for free now...but ill leave it here anyways lol. Personally, I don't consider that completely unfunded. The wand you are using (im guessing its Zakum's Tree Branch) gives you 55 ma clean versus 23. I would consider it minimally funded since I don't think those are super expensive now a days, or you may have had it from a zrun on another character. If you are talking about Astaroth Wand its a similar scenario, 50 base ma (+ 10 int), so 60 ma clean. -- OT: To be a lukless evan (or mage for that matter) you really don't need funding. To be a decent luckless mage you do (in my opinion) need at least some funding. Wait until the May patch when the anniversary comes around. I'm 99% sure maple equips will drop then. Try hunting for some, or hope for some price deflation I guess. edit: see 3 post down =) Obviously my knowledge of new characters in ms is a bit...outdated to say the least lol.

Sorry I havent started a new character in a really long time. If it is that one, then id revise what i said. Never said I was perfect at reading lol. I did actually hesitate to write what I did because he said "beginner wand"...but the only "beginner wands" i knew about that were untradable were the ones i mentioned. Sorry for my lack of knowledge. Learn something new every day i guess right?
