What's better the RK or the Sparta?

I currently own a 109 att RK and a 124 att Sparta but I don't know which one is better :/. Can someone please help me determine which one I should use?

Lets say the TS has 2 att PAC,1 att belt,12 att from rage,10 att from Bos. so 25 att from equips without the red katana. This is x in my previous calculation. Now add the 109 att from RK to the 25 att, which makes 134 att. RK is a fast(4) sword and sparta is a fast(5) sword, so the multiplier that differentiates fast(4) and fast(5) is 1.1(approximately). so multiply total w.att by 1.1 that is 134*1.1 = 147.4 Now subtract the w.att from equips and buffs from that 147. 147-25=122 122 is the w.att of sparta that should be able to outdamage RK. So with the other att equips I stated the 124 Sparta would do better.

To know we need to know the total weapon attack you train under. Your shield, gloves, blessing, belt, atk buff. All of it. The odds are in favor of the rk and they only get better as your other gear does. Fast 4 is a HUGE advantage

eswarr you forgot to add the shield attack if he has any. that would probably tip the scales in favor of the RK

Does everyone train naked these days? You need to factor in your BoF, Cape, Belt, Shoes, Potion/Rage, Shield and glove... And those easily can add up to 50+ Watt on top of your weapon... Anyway... Lets see how much of a Watt bonus you need for the weapons to be equal. B = Bonus from other locations. 1.9 (109 + B) = 124 + B 118.81 + 1.09 = 124 + B .09 B = 5.19 B = 57.666... or about 58 So this means that if you have less than 58 Watt from other sources the Sparta has a better damage output, and if you have more than that the RK has the higher damage output. But really 58 Watt is not hard to get... Lv10 BoF: 10 Rage/WE: 12 Shield: Assume 15 Glove: 10 Cape: 2 Already 49 Watt with "easy" to obtain items (the shield isnt easy to get, but most people consider it a nessesity when going 1h), but upgrade the glove slightly (to 12), upgrade the shield (to 18) add a Watt belt (5) and use a cider (20-12=8) And that is 62 Watt, making the RK the stronger Weapon. Not to mention, an apple would easily push the RK to surpass that Sparta, easily.

Does a weapon looking cool have a factor? Cause if it does I believe easily that the Sparta wins. Look at you guys doing these calculations, what it all comes do to with me personally, is does it look cool when I'm holding it and walking around.

[/quote] Sorry, but I'd say a potentially blood soaked Katana looks a lot better than a Sparta. The only thing I like about Sparta is that it would be cool to put "This is S*****" as your macro. (meme censored... too bad people abusing it prevents me from appropriately using it.)

okay, listen, I personally became a RK hero, I used to use a 115/11 sparta, now I use a 102/10 RK(intend to hammer and make it 106/12 ) To sparta and Rk dmg in TIME the difference is exatelly 14 atk, if the atk of the sparta is 15 atk higher then in TIME sparta do little more damage. however, there are many points that need to be thought, look isn't one of them when we be discussing damage, training and bossing. As you might know, sparta does 88 brandish approximately per minute, while Rk does 96 . I became a RK user for some reasons. With my Rk, I barely get hit by skeles(I will them to fast with sparta regardless of dmg) also, when we talk about weapon speed, we gotta take in consideration that you`ll almost never be able to spam 96 or 88 brandish in a min, training(u`ll probably never need 88;96 brandishs to kill a 3 monster mob+ and you`ll probably never find monsters enough, gathered together to spam it) or bossing(u get hit and have to repot) in that case, you might want to test both swords for training, I'd stay with red katana because of all those reasons, I found out to be much better for training and efficient against boss and skeles. But in raw damage per time your sparta does slightly more. but does it on the situations you use the most? you`ll never train or boss in perfect conditions, remember that x3

the sparta has +15 attack, but the RK has 1 more speed. The Sparta wins, Because for 1H sword 14 att=1 speed. if the psarta was 123 attack, it would be equal, and 122 att, the RK wins. But since its 124 att. the Sparta wins out

The Sparta looks cooler and nicer by a little bit. The Sparta has more range, making it easier to use ACB for Paladins. The Sparta has a much easier time 1HKOing or 2HKOing a monster than a RK. If you can do this earlier, it is more useful than more speed. The Sparta is easier to create with Maker, as more slots are available for jewels. So I would probably stick with the Sparta, to be honest, if I were a Paladin. However, if I was a Hero with fixed Brandish range and enough money to get a really good RK, I would choose that, as it is also one of my favourite weapons.
