Tomorrow I have my first job interview ever. It's for Ross. I've never had a paying job and I'm 18. Yes I know that's sad but I didn't really need one before but now I do. I hope it goes well. I'm not too nervous. How was your first job interview? Did you get the job?

Easy for me because I knew what they were going to ask since my friend went to the same interview and gave me a heads up. Got the job the next day ^-^.

[/quote] Yea two of my friends work there and they told me what they're going to ask so I know what to say. I just hope I don't stumble over words.

[/quote] Sadly I've never had an official job in which you needed to interview either, so I know what you mean. I have interviewed for positions in community service organizations as well as a lot of other organizations though, and usually being attentive and nice got me the position I wanted.

My first interview was at a local fast food place and I got the job because I went to Band Camp with the same teacher my boss went with. As for my first "real" interview, I ended up getting the job. I would say that if the employer seems happy and cheerful, play up your people skills. Be excited and energetic, but don't go too crazy. If they seem mellow, just stay professional.

Nice! Just remember not to speak like a robot if you know what I mean, they'll think you memorized your answers or somethings fishy.

My friend job interview (I hope) will be coming up as well. I know the manager (Friendly's) and most of the workers pretty well since my mom worked there for 9 years. I'll most likely get it because of connections, but if anyone has some tips, that'd be great. :P Turning 16 in May, which is when I'll be able to start working.

I've had many job interviews, only one of which resulted in me getting a job (which I lost the day the insurance kicked in. "DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING," HE LIED.) Job interviews are relatively easy.

Ah I'm thinking about applying for a part time job at Children's Place since the one in my oh so small town always seem empty, and I'm worried about the interview if I do apply. :X
