When maple 1st came out didn't nexon promise us that nx wouldn't give people and unfair advantage over others? Here we are with the much long anticipated evans and everyone is hoping to enjoy this new class but then we have nexon who totally goes against there word of "Play4free" with the whole either buy it from cs or don't get it at all. Up until this point I was never a nexon hater because I always thought that they did a good job with the game even though they screw up sometimes but now.... I'm starting to question where maplestory is going and it kinda upsets me.

Its still free to play. You don't really need skills to play. i know they are greedy, but they need to make money if you MapleStory to be alive

Yes I have to admit that the pirates did ruin the game a lot. and the Pirates is just basically a remake of the thief job.

In fact, as I have a 3rd-job mage, I think I can safely say that a maxed MG is a magician's most useful skill. As a side note (and not at all coincidental), I bought NX for the first time today just so I could get the mastery books. Yeah, I just became a slave to Nexon, and those 4 extra Gacha tickets didn't give me so much as a mediocre scroll or a level 40 equip.

[/quote] You can still play without MG, look up the word "play" MG is skill just help you survive from monsters. You can still play

It's kinda like this: When Arans were released a ton of people ignored the skill quests and basically screwed themselves over by grinding. This is kind of a way to prevent that plus the skillbooks do drop from other monsters. It's just an optional choice.

They don't drop from monsters, and they probably won't drop from monsters. To make some extra money, and prevent Dragon Glasses abuse, Nexon simply made you to pay 10 bucks to get the Glasses. After the event, the skills will probably go back to being like every other skill, just add points. Secondly, no one is making you play an Evan. "Blah blah blah I want to try it out! baw baw QQ" Then go ahead. You can survive Magic Guard-less until about 60-ish maybe. And really, compared to other classes Evans magically don't get better at a job change. They stay pretty much the same throughout the entire game.

I'm doing the Peanut Lab stuff and I'm getting quite a lot of NX from it. I'm planning on getting the whole perma Evan set soon. Then get the Mastery Books since I already got MG and the others can wait.
