Am I Stuck On This Quest?

Hey guys. I'm currently doing the mushroom castle quests. I'm doing the quest where you break the barrier. I just used the killer spore potion and nothing happened. Now I cant go in and I cant make another potion. Does any one know how to solve this problem or am stuck?

Happened to me. Your done. UNLESS you can find a drop that lets you through. BUT you must get every single drops that you need. Then go in, do everything and done.

Ah great... I just used the temorary spore before doing this quest. Guess there's no way out this huh?
