This is what a Mapler actually said to them over Twitter : "My evan is lv33 and I found out, shocked, that the only way to develop Magic Guard to max is buying NX..low blow, Nexon." [/quote] Now they can't backtrack and say it wasn't on purpose. Cause if they are aware it is an issue (for US), why don't they do an emergency patch or server check? It's not like they don't do it all the time already. Plus now they announced freakin' x2 EXP/DROP for several days in the month including this week end. I guess we'll have to level with MG level 5, us non - nx buyers? ... I can't believe they got that greedy, honestly.

yeah i had to sell my YSS to get my magic guard skill book... luckily i had saved the 5k maple points from the aran vid so i got booster and crit for free :D

It not that bad I just did the surveys on their webite and got 7k nx today. I blew it on the book and then gacha.

[/quote] Yes AND no. You can get the skill books WITHOUT NX, and you can also simply buy them. The problem with MG is that NX is the ONLY way, which is causing frustration.
