Why do people care about damage so much eh?

Alright, take a seat, have a snack while you are reading this. Why hate on Classes Alright, I've been at least been 4th job on most jobs. Most of them I've been insulted and excluded due to my low damage. I go regular dexterity and people tell me (something like this) Mapler A says, ''LULZ U IS REG DEX U DMG LOW I DEXLESS I STRONG!'' Mapler B says, ''ZOMG LOWDEX IS STRONGER THAN ALL'' I've also been told that bandits suck because of their damage. I also seen gunslingers talking about how great their DPM is. I understand that Corsairs have the best DPM in game, but these gunslingers were about level 35. Also, on my Page, people tell me how suckish they are and that I gotta delete it because I hit sooo low. For people who read this much, I am not generalizing anyone so don't been saying ''zo0amg u generalize adyoayu get binned''. I've been left out of many parties because I'm an Evan. Also, most of the time, I see people on Maple saying, ''Evans suck you noob. Go make a real class!''. This is the main reason I quit Maple a couple years ago.

Because damage is a fun part of the game. It's been and high damage was fun "back then."

more damage = stronger hits (obviously) with stronger hits monster lose more health, the more health a monster loses in 1 hit = less hits in total, less hits in total = faster monsters death = faster exp gained = they level faster than you do.

Who doesn't care about damage? I do but, I'm not totally crazy about it. Think of it this way, humans will always [most of them] strive for power and attention... And, hating on classes is just wrong. People need to chill.

Faster damage = faster training If there was no point in damage then all us merchants would be doing our jobs for nothing. Ultimately, our goal is to get as much mesos as we can and then use it to get godly damage.

having better damage is a main part of the game...why else would you level? Do you level to have better damage, kill stronger monsters, better PQs with good prizes? I know I do.

I have never met a player who acts the way you say. Unless they are ksing to begin with. However, damage for me is a concern because I'm at a 90% margin of one hitting skelegons.
