Why jPop is better than aPop

I've listened to a lot of different music for a long time and the american music scene is just lacking in every way compared to Japanese music. Everytime I listen to the radio on the ride to my school full of Aberzbomies and Haters, and whenver I hear my friends talk about songs, I get disappointed because of their bad taste in music. It is so hard for me that a lot of people just can't see how much better jPop is to aPop. First off, aPop dance choreography is just nothing compared to jPop dance videos. I keep hearing about how Beyonce's video, Single Ladies, features 'hot' dancing, 'great' video editing, and sweet choreography, but she can't even get a whole routine down for the entire video! Beyonce and her cronies are so unlike Girls Generation , a group that can not only dance in sync for the whole song, without editing, but can produce a catchy, post-post-modern masterpiece of pop music. Instead of just wearing skimpy outfits and 'shaking it', SNSD can actually DANCE and look kyoot. Lady Gaga is being touted as the queen of pop just because she's a transexual, but Japanese bands have been doing the transgender thing for a long time already . Also, compare the theme songs for Final Fantasy 13; the Japanese version is a lot better. The american version couldn't even make a song from scratch and instead had to use a licensed song from an american pop singer. Feel sad for the US ff13 players who got shafted. There's a lot more evidence about how jPop is better than aPop but that's all I have enough time to type up for now. Which do you think is better?

That's only an opinion that your friends/people have bad taste in music and a Music Video isn't what gets people to like the song. E: Also all that "facts" you listed are actually opinions as well. I barely watch any music videos, but I didn't really like all the Asian-ness in the video.

I don't see what the big deal is between different countries' pop music. Comparing one to the other wouldn't really work, they all have many different influences due to their culture, location, etc. You can't possibly expect your average American to say that jPop is better than aPop, most Americans don't even listen to jPop. Saying that one form of music is better than another is just based on personal bias.

I couldn't care that you think jpop is better, or kpop or whatever pop. If I can understand it(which I can't for jpop/kpop), and I like it, I could care less where it comes from. There's no point in claiming whats better than anything else because its all opinion.
