I can't feel much emotion - this might have to do with my emotional immaturity. But it's hard for me to want to form a relationship, and stay committed. At this moment in my life, honest to God, the only thing I'm willing to do with a girl is flirt. I don't want to go all the way, and I don't want to date them, even if I like them. When people die, I don't really care. If one of my best friends died, I'd probably care (but I lost a friend before, and was pretty emotionless - a bit sad, but that's it). But when my grandma died, I just knew she had to die anyway, so I was fine with it. Same with my Godmother. Also, I hate charity. I don't hate giving to people - quite the contrary. But I hate when people get together to help people. My school has recently started to support the Seattle Children's Hospital, and I've been very firm in denying donation - many of the ASB officers are extremely angry with me for not complying and giving like everybody else. I simply don't wish to support any fundraisers that they, or anyone else start. Haiti was another event that occurred that merited only a shrug from me. Especially when the fundraisers started - I was almost angered by the fundraisers. I'm angered by emotion, and by caring. I'm angered when teens try to make a difference. It seems that some teens are trying to make a difference when they don't really have their heart in it - even if they do, I hate it when they try. I hate teenagers, although I am one. I have friends - lots of them. I hate drama - probably why I hate teens so much, and probably why I hate teens trying to make a difference so much. But today, when I was asked by an ASB officer why I wasn't going to donate to the Children's Hospital, I said, "I don't care about the children. I'd rather donate to a fund that helps animals, and certainly not through the ASB." Naturally, the girl asking me the question was thrown back by it and was visually angered by my insolence. Yet, the thing is, I love helping people. I love helping animals. I love helping the environment (even though I'm a conservative - ha, ha... ha). I hate humanity, and I think we shouldn't be here. Yet, I still help people, but not through teenagers. I figure that teenagers are just tools (for using... not tools as in insult). I constantly find myself having mixed thoughts on everything. I have no idea what my brain is doing. Tell me, wise basil - what is my issue? What is causing this?

It may be your outlook on society that's causing this. The fact you think humans shouldn't be here/exist may have to do with how society and people act today.

You're too critical and uptight on "everything", you have to loosen up and let things pass. Things will happen, and you just need to let them happen.

It's just your personality and the way you think. There's nothing necessarily wrong, you just have a different way of thinking.

You are me. Like, really. I am exactly like that and people always tell me how cold-hearted I am, but yeah.

it seems to me that you're just easily annoyed. from relationships you despise the fact that you have to stay with ONE person for long periods of time. do the thoughts of clingy girls come across your mind when you think of long term relationships?

Sometimes I get angry and can't explain why - certain things make me extremely angry, and these things are usually things that also made me angry as a very young child. Like motivational speakers. When people get excited, it makes me think everybody's a retarded tool. I got kicked out of my first preschool for hitting other kids because they were "retards," and for talking to the teacher the way she talked to me - condescending, like a child. I hated her. I hated the other kids. And when they cried when I hit them, I'd consider them weak and hit them again. ..I'm way less violent now. I only hit people when I've been very provoked - last person I hit was a girl. Weeks ago. She hit me over the back of the head with her fist after I said something I was reluctant to say about somebody else that she had to hear. I hit her on the arm as a minor retaliation strike, and she and a few other friends of hers tried to tackle me to the floor for hitting a girl. Strange thing - they're all feminists, and how does equal rights permit a no-violence-against-females idea? @Above: yes. Although, a girl that I like, Katie, who also likes me, seems to be perfectly fine, and I'm confident she wouldn't turn out that way. However, I've also thought about snuggling - I don't like to snuggle. I don't like extended periods of contact. It makes me uncomfortable. When I got curious a while ago and decided to watch one of those movies online, I was disgusted by the girl making noises and getting really into it. I'd be very turned off. I'm not exactly a that sort of movie type, I've decided. Shroomsly - hey, nice job on becoming a m-m-mod. :D My emotional immaturity... hard to explain. Afraid of commitment, for one thing. Well, if you apply that to everything in life - beliefs, religion, random stuff lying around the house, politics... it applies to pretty much everything. I can't hold a firm position on anything, except for things like feminism which really bothers me (not that I'm against equal opportunity, but it seems that many feminists are a little too feminist and want more than equality), prejudice... that might be it, but I'm tired, and I'm having trouble thinking.

eh..... soo....you are confused about how come you don't feel sad about certain death? well the easiest way to think is what is the definition of being "NORMAL" ? sooner or later you will know the answer in the future. ps. btw I see nothing wrong about you, because you are just different from others, but that doesn't make you wrong or weird. afterall everyone is unique. pps. For certain death, there are NO meaning of "LOST" for you. so you don't feel it as much as others. ppps. THE WISE ONE HAS SPOKEN ! ding- ding- ding-
