Maplestory Error Code -40: Installation failed. (11207,0)

Hey Guys, I have a problem D: When I tried to patch maplestory to the latest version (v.84), it had an error about the sound.wz being corrupt. Then I re-downloaded the setup and when I tried to install the game, it also stopped on sound.wz and said an error occurred during isntallation (the error in title). Can anyone help me? -iINFINITE- EDIT: My bad didn't see the other guys post on the same error.

hmmm interesting... i had this error too and i started playing around. well after hours of brain-racking torture i think i finally found a way around this error. so what i did was open the maplestory launcher directly from the folder it was in on my computer (for me it was C:NexonMapleStoryGameLauncher.exe). after that just click the "Start Game" button on the right. this should take you to the good ol' launcher window that we all know and love. from there just start the game normally. hope this helped ^^

Hey Thanks for the reply. I got it fixed :D After a while ( a had to go tutor and church) i tried reinstalling it again and it just.. worked. LOL -iINFINITE-
