Unable to click play due to error code = -40

so i finally got it to download but when i load the game it says an error occurred during installation please try again this is the one when you click start play it says loading the installation module error code = -40 installation failed.(14402,32) any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it so many times and so far nothing. =(

im getting this problem too but to me i think ill just try again tommorow because nexon always fails ....at whatever theyre doing......you have to agree with me on that right?

Go to your Maplestory map and open the GameLauncher.exe. After you have done this you get the choice to open up the game through the website or through the client. Choose the client. It should work now. I had this problem as well. I just tried out multiple things. The website start up just doesn't work it seems.

i had this downloaded and installed and it worked the first time around for me v84. i wanted to reinstall it becuase i was having really bad lag and i thought it might help and now im getting this same message as all of you
