It says you need nx for certain skills on the website. Whether or not you can ONLY get them from cs i dont know.

well i think that you can get them from the CS with some extra thingy like the arc staff or 60% wand, but i guess its also a drop..

I know pigs can fly... You can buy the books with NX, grind mobs or do quests for the books.
