How is Shadower?

I have a few questions, I have made a Bandit. So what I would like to know is: 1.) Is Shadower worth it? (would you rather have made a hero or something.) 2.) How are training speeds compared to other non-mage classes? 3.) Is B-Step annoying? and will it be spamable after the balance patch? 4.) Are you wanted for bosses such as Zakum, Pap, Scarlion, Targa. 5.) Should I stay Dexless/Strless? (I plan on going far on this character and am likely to have some large funding's.) I am fully open to ideas on creating a different class so if somebody Doesn't know much about Shadowers but wants to share about the great experience they are having with their class it would be great, I just want a class to stick to all of my friends are like 14x and I cant decide what to play on. Thanks guys.

1. So far, yes. 2. Should be the highest for now. 3. Not to me and not exactly, but it'll be a lot faster AND will be able to be executed from ledges. A great improvement. I'm glad it won't be spammable, though. 100% invincibility frame... takes all the risks and thus the fun out of the game for me. 4. That depends on your connections. I was invited to an "All Shad run" and to fill up for Scarlion. (refused both) 5. Technically the best Shadower would be a STRless DEXless Dragon Khanjar wielder. As that's at this oment impossible to achieve I think a low DEX low STR Dragon Khanjar Wielder (both stats capped stats as low as possible) would be pretty good. Don't let the "Shads will die" rumours get to you.

1. Get there yourself 2. 2nd Rate 3. Its only a few second cooldown? Just throw random skills in the cooldown 4. Connections 5. Give me the funding instead.

1. Probably. 2. Average. 3. No, and no. 4. Not specifically by randoms, but friends and guildies urge me to join them. 5. Do whatever. Bandits have low damage, and you play them for fun, not for numbers. Numbers are for calculators.

1.) Only you can judge 2.) I'd say about the same until 160 or so (My guess) 3.) How could it be annoying? 4.) With friends yes (Bossing with randoms isnt a smart thing to do anyway, you're asking to be hacked) 5.) Does it matter?

[/quote] Those were a long time ago, the only recent one that i've seen is SaintAssault's solo I havent been playing too long so check my info, but maybe that's because there weren't too many Str shad shields floating around back then

How are training speeds compared to other non-mage classes? ------> Slow, melee so you can get ksed alot before you become shadower. 3.) Is B-Step annoying? and will it be spamable after the balance patch? ------> not spam, but the cool down time gonna be reduced. 4.) Are you wanted for bosses such as Zakum, Pap, Scarlion, Targa. ------> sometime, but not much 5.) Should I stay Dexless/Strless? (I plan on going far on this character and am likely to have some large funding's.) ------> go for all luk and try to add dex for abit if you need.

Shadowers Worth it. Bandit worth it. CB Worth it. Honestly, if you really want to have fun in maple, go for it. But check your fundings first. Bandits arent that strong if your not funded. If your funded you can easily outdamage most class.

[/quote] Regarding point two: it's very easy to avoid getting kSed even if you're melee. My experiences with being KSed in this game are minimal. And I've been pl;aying this character for well over 4 years :S Also low STR low DEX works out better in the end due to a lack of ATT from the Kebob (which is slower than the regular Daggers, by the way) and the Fan. :S DEXlessness for Bandits isn't nearly as good as DEXlessness for Assassins.

I myself regret quititng my shadower it was the fun-est class i have ever played imo 1: yes its totally worth it 2:got to lvl 145 w/o leeching and its fun to train them imo 3:no not at all 4: i have friends who invited me 5: do what ever u want @above it all depends on funding my dit was dexless and at 13x i outmdged 14x shads and some 15x then again i was hella funded lol

1. yes, best class there is. 2. average training until you hit lvl 130, then you will start training hella fast.(fastest melee training class with paladin) 3.B-step isnt annoiying but its gonna get improved making it better though. 4.Yes, you just need to prove you can do what it takes there and need little connections. some organizers know Shad are pro 5.Dkhanjars disappearing so if you wanna make STR dit make it fast.

1. Whether a class is "worth it" or not shouldn't even be considered when making a character, but if I had to answer then yes. 2. Average, speeds up with a high level of Taunt. Said to be the fastest training non-mage class, but I have yet to see this. Then again everything past 16x is just slow anyway. 3. Jump-Bstep can get annoying sometimes, but the balance patch rectifies this along with other shadower shortcomings. 4. Bossing = connections, nothing else. If you have those then yes. 5. If you care about that kind of thing, then it's possible to be a STRless/DEXless Dkhanjar user but this is not the normal standard in the slightest and requires billions of mesos worth of funding to execute properly. This depends entirely on your circumstances/equips and what you can afford and your preferences.

My Characters: Gobbins - 171 Scania I/L Arch Mage

If you can't make it past Bandit or Chief Bandit clearly Shadower is not worth it no matter how good the class is. This is best to be tried out by yourself.
