So I just read naruto, bleach and one piece episodes that came out this week and all 3 of them were really exciting issues :D 1. naruto: I was so goddam happy for kakashi and then stupid tsunade wakes up. But that part about sasuke's eyes and the evil in sasuke or w/e is cool 2. bleach: Aizen planned a heckload of stuff? Unexpected. 3. one piece: OMG! Red hair shanks and the 3rd yonkou come to end the war! And wtf that little kid has a kings haki cause he made everyone stop fighting Discuss I guess

I hope Ace doesn't come back. I think Ace dying does a lot for Luffy's character. Luffy has been jumping around, being reckless the entire series. He has never, if I remember, really experienced losing someone close (family wise) that he can never get back/see again. I'm hoping Ace's death will mature Luffy and prepare him, mentally, for the New World. >__>

The Naruto chapter had a nice turn of events at the end. Sasuke has Itachi's eyes. I feel like Naruto is gonna get some name-brand Uchiha can of ass-whooping. 2. In Bleach, I really want to see what Ichigo's father can do and what Ichigo was born from or whatever, what makes him so special. 3. One Piece, Shanks is gonna do some ass-kicking. MAJOR ass-kicking Since this is my favorite manga, I'm most excited about this one. (BTW, that is Koby from the beginning of the series. And some Admiral that jerk was. Isn't he supposed to protect the people?)

He replaces conventional optimism with 'get it done' enthusiasm. Making him more broody and self-involved would just hinder his appeal and make him a generic Naruto. On topic, OMFG SHANKS WEEEEEEEEE. I'm EXTREMELY intrigued by how Shanks holds his own without a DF power.

Uhh no? Coby (the little kid) isn't so little. He stopped everyone fighting because he yelled so loud, not because he had Haoskoku Haki. Haoshoku Haki knocks out people with weak wills, not stop people from fighting.

His reasons for kicking someone's ass is immature.. The whole story of One Piece is based around Luffy's immature, dumb, child-like goals, and dreams. Luffy is just an overgrown child with massive strength. He has a very simplistic view. If he doesn't get what he wants, he doesn't settle for not getting it. He gets it ONE way or ANOTHER. Period.

The whole story of One Piece is because Luffy wants to become the Pirate King. What a dumb goal.. and immature.
