So what do you think is the best team on ffXIII ?=) my team right now is lighting fang and hope

there isnt exactly a 'best' team. later on u can max all the jobs for all characters, and then u customize and upgrade their weapons. after that it just comes down to personal preference

Mine is Fang/Hope/Vanille Just my favorite characters.

Like FirezRage said, there's no best team, only preference. I for example hated having Snow as party leader (even though he has high HP). Most of the time my team was: Lightning (leader/always commando), Vanille (Medic/Sab/Ravager) and Sazh (Ravager/Syn). Second choice was Lightning, Fang and Hope. One tip (which is pretty obviously): Never have 2 Sabs/Syns (AKA: Fang and Vanille, Sazh and Hope). And another tip: NEVER have a Paradigm with only Ravagers (always have a commando to keep the stagger-gauge filled and decrease slowly, if you have 1 commando, the rest can be any "job").

Lead- Fang Lightning Hope Reasons, Fang, she has the highest natural strength in the game, as well as a decent ammount of HP to go with it, meaning she can easily dish out and take damage. Lightning, with the Lionheart weapon being able to instant stagger enemies, as well as being an amazing Ravager AND that she can turn Medic, why not? Hope, HASTE, buffs, heals, and can go Ravager, hes an amazing all-rounder, although he does lack HP, that can be covered with equips. Fang lead for the reason of being a sentinel, if you let her auto, you'll see she will use 'Challenge' for an entire bar even if it works first time, she also does this with a few other skills like Provoke, etc., also she has an amazing summon (coughbahamutcough), which seems to do more damage tham most other summons (cough325kchap11cough), sooo I can save turns, and add more damage, its win-win.

[/quote] I've been able to hit the 99999 with Lightning near the end of the game (true, I had enflame, ATT up, enemy defense down, staggered and weak to fire etc.), which was a lot more then I was able to do with Fang (or any other character for that matter).

Sazh Fang Vannile. <-- Fang's high wind plus these two ravagers, replace sazh with lightning if you want more power after staggering. Also, all of em are really useful in thir very own ways but I find Fang's raw strength much more deadly. Sazh is the ultimate buffer early end game and post end game until vanille fills up that long ass synergist role of hers along with lightning obtaining haste. Hope has the best eidolon next to Fang >_> well imo anyways. Also hope's a good chain filler. I find snow to be the most obsolete =/. OH vanille = best saboteur lol.
