Evan v. All other mages

I was thinking about this today, are Evans going to be stronger than the regular mages (not including Cygnus Knights) or will the regular mages be stronger? Please explain your opinions.

No, Evans have lower dps then Archmages in 1v1, and any group of monsters higher then 6. The main role of an Evan is to be a hybrid Support/Attacking character, or as I put it, Offensive support.

evan cant mob the whole map just the one platform...

it can mob with earthquake... but it hits 8 on any platform range. flame wheel is long ranged attack that pause for 1 sec then race to enemy.. smashing it for fire dampage

Mages still train faster though.

I don't think Evans have a lower DPM than other mages (even with proof shown) but I do think Evans will be better in bossing scenarios.

Maybe stronger 1vs1, but definitely weaker on large mobs. They do have the ability to rush monsters and have a mage form of zerk, an mp zerk. They do have some melee/bossing class type characteristics along with mage characteristics so we'll just have to wait and see.

[/quote] The world where actual Math and logic is used, how about you? I'm getting tired of brain dead Basilers like you that can't even accept a statement when I provide PROOF. I mean for god sakes if they outdamaged Archmages in solo there would be very little point in making one, Nexon isn't a bunch of idiots when they design these classes. When YOU are ready to join the world of Math and Logic, give us a call. You know why Evans are one of the most unpopular magician classes in kMS? Because they don't outdamage archmages, DERP.

i will explain more of buffs.. -Evan can use magic shield that reduce all attacks by 30% but 70% attack will go through but few secs durtain (time to recast).... -Evan can use party buff that protect the party by reducing 30% magic attack dampage. -Evan can use magic guard but it will be nerfed but tradeoff is their buffs to cover that weakness like berserk mp and amp magic.. if mp changes at certain pace... it can get 110% magic to use in all skills. -they can use Elemental Reset to make all magic non-elemental aka to their cousins Blaze wizard's buff 100%.

[/quote] I actually added all up in magic f/p's paralyze is the powerfulest 1.vs.1 83.33 casts a min with balance patch amp+ ele wand it would end up with 37500 basic attack a min i/l's cl 86.96 cast a min with balance patch amp+ele wand would end up 34239 basic attack a min evan's best bet is with blaze because of ele wand+135% amp+ crit+dragon fury would end up with 32023 basic attack a min But I think it's because the ele wands, w/e I'm too bored to do this calculation, or maybe another thing because I'm not sure if the casting speed from this thread http://www.south perry.net/showthread.php?t=21148 is boosted or simply the original cast ms.
