It does make sense, you may be on a different time then us. It is 11:30 for me right now, Pacific Time. So the patch starts in half an hour.

After 11:59 PM it becomes 12:00 AM, which is officially the next say. Meaning, from the time the question was asked, there was about 1 and a half hours left till the maintenance, meaning, the time would pass 12:00 AM, which ALSO means it is the next day.
