My parents gives me ALOT of freedom. They give me a phone, a t.v in my room (:D), lots of stuff that I cant think of right now. They even buy me a computer/labtop that I dont really need because I already got one.. o_o They buy food for me which I dont really wanna eat or feel like eating. Whenever I get tired of being on the computer, I just go play outside and my parents say "DON'T GO OUTSIDE! GO TO YOUR ROOM" I sorta feel bad for having all of these stuff.. My parents are treating me like I have alot of freedom but I want them to take away most of my stuff and be a regular mean asian :o Yeah.. They tell me to study from time to time but they rarely do that.. :[

I don't see how that's considered freedom. It sounds like they are buying you stuff so you'd stay in your room. They won't let you go outside?

your parents don't know what's best for you. if they are REAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYY strict on you, they care about you more edit: if you're korean, then that's normal. Chinese parents push you more

My mom doesn't tell me study, She tells me to do my best in school every once in a while and if i'm hungry she'll buy me food. She won't buy me any of that stuff if its not like REALLY cheap but my mom lets me go out alot too though.. I'd like to be you though. Sept for the outside part.
